Windows Distillery Earns Another Award at the London Spirits Competition

Windows London Spirits Competition award medallion

Sycamore, IL — Windows Distillery has achieved a new benchmark in the world of craft spirits with an outstanding performance at the London Spirits Competition, where its flagship release, Windows Four Barrel Whiskey, earned an impressive 98 points and a Gold Medal. This latest accolade places Windows Distillery among the top-tier whiskey producers globally and solidifies its reputation as a rising force in the premium spirits landscape.

This win is a reflection of Windows’ commitment to pushing boundaries. While many distilleries focus solely on tradition, Windows Distillery blends time-honored techniques with bold innovation. From grain to glass, every step is carefully crafted to produce whiskeys that challenge convention and deliver deep, complex flavor.

At the heart of Windows’ success is a dedication to detail: experimental grain bills, unconventional barrel finishes, and a proofing process refined to highlight each expression’s unique character. That relentless focus has made its whiskeys stand out on shelves—and now, on the world stage.

In addition to the award-winning Windows Whiskey, the distillery continues to expand its portfolio with small-batch and limited-edition releases, each one a showcase of its signature style: robust, layered, and unapologetically original. With every bottle, Windows redefines what craft whiskey can be.

Led by its visionary Master Spirit Bender™, the team at Windows Distillery has created more than a product—they’ve built a movement. One that honors tradition, but refuses to be limited by it.

As international recognition grows, so does anticipation for what comes next. And if recent results are any indication, Windows is just getting started.

Windows Distillery Earns More National Recognition at 2025 Bartender Spirits Awards

Sycamore, IL — Windows Distillery continues its award-winning streak with high honors from the 2025 Bartender Spirits Awards. All three of its flagship spirits—Four Barrel Bourbon, Batch One Bourbon, and Continental Vodka—were recognized by a judging panel made up of top working bartenders and beverage directors across the country.

  • Four Barrel Bourbon – 92 Points
  • Batch One Bourbon – 92 Points
  • Continental Vodka – 84 Points

This latest round of recognition places each of these spirits in a rare category: all three have now won major awards from multiple respected competitions in just the past few months.

Four Barrel Bourbon previously earned a Gold Medal and a near-perfect 98 points at the London Spirits Competition, followed by a Silver Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Batch One Bourbon took home a Bronze Medal in London and a Gold in San Francisco. Continental Vodka has now medaled in all three competitions: Bronze in London, Silver in San Francisco, and now 84 points from the Bartender Spirits Awards.

“These kinds of awards carry weight,” said founder Chris Mayer. “When you’re recognized by bartenders—the professionals who select what actually gets poured in the best bars and restaurants—you know you’ve made something special.”

While many distilleries focus entirely on production, Windows has built its reputation on bending, not just blending. From unique barrel finishes to custom proofing water, the team is redefining what craft spirits can be. Their approach—part science, part creativity, all heart—has made an impression on both casual drinkers and seasoned experts.

“Getting all three of our first releases recognized like this? That’s rare,” said Master Spirit Bender™ Mike Weckerly. “We’re proud. And we’re just getting started.”
